During my twenty five years in private practice, I have directed a number of hospitals and addictions programs including Hartgrove, Forest, and Linden Oaks Hospitals as well as Rush Lake Forest. Through my training and experience, I have developed a conviction that emotions and behavior can only be understood from a multidimensional perspective. I believe in the importance of understanding my patients from medical, psychological, sociological, and spiritual perspectives. Who we are, what we feel, and what we do emerges from an interplay between these four dimensions. As a result, my approach to assessing and treating my patients is always comprehensive and multifaceted.
